As a non-Indigenous organization, we pay our deepest respects and gratitude to the First Nations Peoples whose land we walk, learn, work and play upon. We acknowledge the continuous culture, history, language and stories of the Enos, Occaneechis, Shakoris and Sissipahaws tribes here in North Carolina and recognize them as the sovereign carers of these lands.

We extend this respect to the land, acknowledge her as living, and vow to walk with humility, love, and respect in all that we do.
